Michael Thames, CFP^®

As a Financial Advisor with Capital Analysts of Jacksonville, Mike brings over 14 years of experience in the financial services industry, working closely with clients. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the areas of financial planning and investment advice, built on a foundation of listening to and focusing on the unique situations of his clients. His experience includes generational family planning and assisting clients as they transition into care services during their most critical times of need.

 Mike began his career in the finance industry at a large Fortune 500 financial firm, helping thousands of clients. After several years and gaining extensive experience, he transitioned into a planning and consulting role, earning his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. In April 2024, Mike joined Capital Analysts to further his work with individuals, families, business owners, and organizations, diving deeper into strategic advice and tackling complex client situations.

 As part of a family of five, Mike has been married to his wife, Catherine, for eleven years, and they have three daughters: Abigail, Mackenzie, and Harper.

 An Eagle Scout and avid musician, Mike enjoys playing the guitar and drums at his local church and engaging with his local scouting community. In his free time, he also loves building Lego sets and reading business nonfiction. Mike holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 registrations.
